Two of hip hop’s biggest heavyweights Kanye West and Drake are set to collide.

The two most prominent stars of the hip-hop scene are preparing a collaboration.

“Is y’all ready for this album?” Kanye shouted out to the crowd at OVO Fest Monday night.

“I wasn't talking about Pablo. I wasn't talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y’all right now: Are y’all ready for this album?” He clarified, pointing at Drake before pointing back to himself.

This could potentially end up creating an album more popular then even “Watch the Throne” from Kanye and Jay Z or “What A Time To Be Alive” by Future and Drake. The fact that the above mentioned duo rarely performs together will cause even greater excitement for their fans.

Given that “The Life of Pablo” and “VIEWS” are the top contenders for the annual title of the best music album, the only thing lacking is Kendrick adding his name to this creation and the collective hip-hop fan base might actually have a hearth attack from excitement.

It was hinted by Drake earlier this year that this collaboration might come to fruition and Kanye even contributed a few lines to Drake’s “Pop Style”.
